Martin Buber's basic position is the "inter-subjective existence, the existence as encounter".
At this Meetup we will discuss on the relation between the concept Me – You, Ι – Thou (Ich und Du, 1923), a relationship that places particular emphasis on the reciprocal, holistic and authentic encounter without skepticism or objectification of each other. We will focus on the role and the relationship of the parent with the child through a wider family scope within today's society in an experiential way, as well as on a theoretical basis.

Dora Loukidi, Psychologist (NKUA) specializing in Educational Psychology (MSc Professional Training in Educational Psychology-University of London), Gestalt psychotherapy training (Gestalt Foundation). She has twelve years working experience as an Educational Psychologist in the private and public education sector and now works as a psychotherapist in her private office, supporting children, adolescents and adults. Member of the Greek & European Society of Gestalt Psychotherapy.
