The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center presents “The Art of Behaving Badly”, as part of the WOW Athens 2023. This exhibition includes provocative posters, videos, and other art forms created by the Guerrilla Girls that raise awareness of discriminatory practices in the visual arts.
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8, and in view of the WOW Festival that will be presented for the first time in Greece in April by the SNFCC, the Membership Program is launching a new round of meetups and discussions on the subject of Feminist Art History.
Through two two-hour immersive group workshops, exclusively for Members, one in February and one in March, we will discover how we can make a story interesting!
The Members Film Club resumes its meetings for 2023! On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, on March 8, we dedicate our activities to all feminities, and discuss the animated drama film Persepolis, created by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud.

On our March visual arts visit off the premises of the SNFCC, we are taking a tour of the group exhibition “Modern Love: Love in the Age of Cold Intimacies,” guided by the artistic director of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Katerina Gregos. Before our guided tour, we will meet ARTWORKS fellow Maria Mavropoulou.
After the success of last year's event series, the SNFCC Membership Program between November 2022 and April 2023 resumes the thematic activity of artistic visits in two axes, organized exclusively for the SNFCC Members in collaboration with ARTWORKS and Delta Restaurant.
The Lent season, rich in flavors, savors and Spring aromas, has a unique gastronomic character and appeal due to fasting. In this workshop, we will wed fine wines from Ktima Biblia Chora with favorite Lent recipes, like condiments and cold appetizers with handmade bread by Betty's Bakery.
During our third meeting, we will see how we can decorate our journal so that it may double as an art journal. We will play with letters (lettering) and, in getting creative for our scrapbooking, we will learn about the collage technique, which utilizes clippings that we all have at home.
