Parklife: Human Touch - Εικόνα

Right at the very peak of summer, the Parklife concert series ushers Human Touch onto the stage for yet another unforgettable evening.

On Thursday July 15, at 21:00, the sounds of David Lynch, Stavros Lantsias and Giotis Kiourtsoglou resonate perfectly with the jubilant mood of the summer, as the much-loved band brings back the meaning of “live” in the true sense of the word. The concerts at the Panoramic Steps of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center continue, quenching our thirst for live events and music, with all necessary protection measures in place so we can all enjoy them safely.

With a presence that goes all the way back to the mid-1990s, Human Touch have long proven themselves as one of Greece’s most popular and acclaimed bands. Having developed their own, distinct musical identity, they move across a broad soundscape of rhythms and timbres, rooted in jazz but branching out far beyond. The band’s multitalented musicians play several instruments each, sweeping up their audience in a maelstrom of images and emotions.

Human Touch, who have been described as “the best kept musical secret in the Balkans”, have a dedicated fanbase across Europe, in addition to having played all of the major festivals in Greece. Three of the top musicians of their generation, distinguished for both their recorded and live appearances, they imbue each of their live performances with their unique brand of freedom, spontaneity and personality.

David Lynch - tenor & soprano saxophone, vocals, flute, piccolo, recorder, percussion
Giotis Kiourtsoglou - electric bass guitar, (fretless & fretted), vocals, cajon
Stavros Lantsias - piano-keyboards, drums, classical guitar, melodica

The opportunity to attend the concert, in compliance with all necessary measures of safety in accordance with the Hellenic National Public Health Organization, will be given to a limited number of viewers, through advance booking online.
