The Parklife concert series continues in September at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), featuring artists who share a wistful longing for live shows “like they used to be” – and offer us electrifying musical performances.

On Saturday, September 11, at 21:00, the beloved Locomondo band is putting on a wild and free on-stage party. Employing reggae, ska, latin, rock and traditional Greek rhythms and tunes, Locomondo have been doing, for 18 years now, what they know they do better than anyone else: turning the audience into one big group of friends. Summery dance songs, engaging atmosphere and happy smiles are some of the ingredients that turn their live performances into a unique experience for everyone present. At their concert at the SNFCC, their great hits from the past along with new productions will pave the way for properly ringing in the new season!

The band Locomondo was founded by Markos Koumaris and Yiannis Varnavas in 2003. Two years later, they became the first Greek band to record an album in Jamaica. In addition to their consistent concert activity in Greece, up until before the outbreak of the pandemic they had been staging regular live performances in several countries around the world, including Germany, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey, etc., blending Greek lyrics with global sounds and beats.

As the fall draws near, the band that once assured us that “it’s never cold in Greece” keeps it hot and carefree at this last Parklife concert of this year’s summer season!

The opportunity to attend the show, in compliance with all necessary measures of safety in accordance with the Hellenic National Public Health Organization, will be given to a limited number of viewers, through advance booking.

Maximum audience capacity: 1507
