In December, the SNFCC’s collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Athen, in view of the 100-year anniversary of the Bauhaus School, continues through talks, screenings and art workshops for children and adults.
“Bauhaus at 100” explores the legacy of the 20th century’s most iconic art & design school in the fields of architecture, industrial design, the arts, dance and education.
Bauhaus Workshops for Families: Postcards & Posters
In 1923, the first Bauhaus exhibition took place in Weimar where the results of the Bauhaus School were first presented. In order to promote both the exhibition and the School and its ideas, the Bauhaus students designed their own postcards and posters.
Inspired by their creations, kids and adults will learn all about poster art, graphic design in advertising and typography at the Bauhaus. They will, in turn, design their own postcards and posters, promoting their school or a particular cultural event.
