On the last weekend of September (the 24th and the 25th), the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is organizing the first SNFCC Green Weekend, a two-day event dedicated to environmental awareness, under the comprehensive title “Climate Change and I.” 

From 10 am to 10 pm, Stavros Niarchos Park, from the Great Lawn and the Pine Grove to the Mediterranean Garden, the Dome and the Vegetable Garden, as well as all along the perimeter of the SNFCC, the SNFCC will be filled with activities aimed at young and old alike, revolving around the questions: “What is climate change?” and “What can I do about climate change?”.

The two-day program also includes broader information provided to visitors via information stands of nonprofit organizations, institutions and programs, whose core activities are related to the event’s agenda: ARCTUROS, Cities for Cycling, Fashion Revolution Greece, Greenpeace Greece, Healthy Seas, Natura 2000 – Edo Zoume, WWF Greece.
