The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in partnership with the Takis Foundation – Research Center for the Arts and Sciences organize their first joint off premises activity for the Members of the SNFCC, a guided tour of the Takis Foundation, as part of the “Takis: Cosmos In Motion” exhibition.
The participants, guided by representatives of the Takis Foundation, will tour the Gardens, the Open Theater, the Studio and the Exhibition spaces, and get to know the place where the pioneering artist lived, drew his inspiration and created iconic kinetic sculptures of contemporary art.
Scientific questions, applications and laboratory experiments, the study of natural phenomena and energy for the benefit of environmental protection, are among the many issues that Takis engaged with, and attempted to respond to though his art, in the form of his unique sculptures.
The Aeolians, Light Signals, Flowers, Electrical Barrels, and Musicals, the Cadrans and the Dials, the Magnetic Walls and the Electromagnetic sculptures are some of the remarkable exhibits of the multitalented artist and researcher that visitors will have the opportunity to engage with, culminating in a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

To secure your seat, you can book in the second step of the registration form, when stating your details. After your reservation, the exclusive Member Service Team will contact you to inform you about the point and time of departure from the SNFCC.
Advance booking of your seat, for your transfer with the shuttle bus, will be available till 05/07 at 14.00.
