Exercise is the most powerful tool for preventing and treating chronic conditions, including diabetes, heart disease and obesity. This program benefits adults over 65 as well as younger persons who suffer from chronic ailments.
Sports Excellence staff (physical education teachers, physiotherapists, cardiologists) design and implement custom programs featuring walking, yoga, resistance bands, dumbbells and ground exercises. Each participant’s weekly activity will be recorded, and their physical condition will be evaluated every three months.
A certificate of fitness issued by a pathologist or cardiologist is required.

RUNNING TRACK
For ages 60+ Up to 8 participants
Participants are advised to be at the event's location 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the event.
Free admission by online pre-registration (the activity is conducted in Greek)
For the activities held between 03/08 – 09/08 pre-registration starts on Friday 31/07 at 12.00. For the activities held between 10/08 – 16/08 pre-registration starts on Friday 07/08 at 12.00. For the activities held between 17/08 – 23/08 pre-registration starts on Friday 14/08 at 12.00. For the activities held between 24/08 – 30/08 pre-registration starts on Friday 21/08 at 12.00.
Due to public health measures, there may be changes regarding either the staging of the event, or the maximum number of participants.
