Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center and the company Alter Ego were awarded at the Facilities Management Awards 2020, the gold award of "Implementation of a Comprehensive Covid-19 Prevention and Control Program", in the category "Organization and Process Innovation".
The fourth edition of Facilities Management Awards, of Boussias Communications, rewarded the companies, organizations, agencies and service providers that stood out, both for best practices of overall management of their facilities, and also for their business activity in an extremely demanding period of time.
The evaluation focused on areas such as the timely creation of the business continuity plan, the creation of a Covid-19 response team, the training approach to safeguard employees and visitors, the prevention and immediate response to confirmed Covid-19 cases, the development of new recruitment programs, the specialization of front-line staff groups (mobile cleaning crews), as well as the planning and selection of effective and innovative disinfection solutions. All the above timely planned options resulted in zero spread of minimal Covid-19 cases within the SNFCC, from the beginning of the pandemic until today.
