Francis Pisani, writer and journalist at the French newspaper Le Monde, visited Athens and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). In his article, Mr. F. Pisani exalts the SNFCC’s landscape and design, underlining that its architect, Renzo Piano, was also the creator of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
"From this spectacular building someone can really see and perhaps understand the city of Athens", says Pisani who makes specific reference to the SNFCC’s Lighthouse, noting that it offers a breathtaking view of the valley where the European urban civilization was born.
In his article, Mr. Pisani highlights that the SNFCC is a “beacon” of hope which leads to reflection, a sign of better times to come for Greece.
