A workshop in celebration of Mother's Day! Children together with their mum or grandmother create a floral arrangement of Mediterranean flowers in a ceramic vase. The workshop is divided into two stages, in the first one, with the help of a sketchbook, the children and their chaperones draw an inspiration for their final design, the arrangement and the patterns they will paint on the ceramic vase. In the second stage we spend time on the touch and smell of the aromatic plants, the processing of their flowers and foliage and the final selection of flowers to create the bouquet.
The SNFCC Membership Program continues its visual arts guided tours for a 3rd season, in collaboration with ARTWORKS and Delta Restaurant. In April, May and June, we will make three off-the-premises visits to studios of ARTWORKS fellows whose works are presented at Delta Restaurant.
A guided tour at the exhibition Marilena Aravantinou exclusively for the SNFCC Members! Marilena Aravantinou belongs to the cohort of creators who taught us how to see the world through the arts of theater and cinema. All of us, even the youngest, have come into contact with her work without knowing it.
In May, SNFCC Members learn the technique of making paper flowers! Inspired by the blooming Mediterranean Stavros Niarchos Park, we experiment with forms, colors and small visual details that make a flower an object of art. The paper flowers we will construct will be unique, handmade and 100% sustainable, made of recycled and recyclable paper.
