The Marketplace is located at the heart of the SNFCC, in the Agora, presenting an open, bustling market that will showcase women and non-binary-led businesses, charities and activist organizations.

The WOW Athens Marketplace, is more than just a market: it creates a meeting point for thousands of visitors, set to the rhythm of DJ sets and pop-up concerts; it highlights the creativity and entrepreneurship of women and femininities, while, through participating NGOs, it brings to the forefront a wide range of current issues not only relevant to women, but to society in general.

Free thinking zone is a concept bookshop and publishing house for contemporary thought and art, founded in Athens, in December 2011. It is a community of political and social activism, fueled by a shared faith in the protection of human rights, tolerance of diversity, freedom of expression, democracy, and justice.

In the Marketplace Bookshop you can find a range of book recommendations from the Free Thinking Zone and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center regarding gender issues, the history and themes of feminism, and women’s stories that inspire us.
