General

  • SNFCC welcomes students carrying out educational programs for all school levels. Alternatively, school groups can participate in autonomous school walks at the SNFCC premises.

For the school year 2020-2021, school programs will be held outdoors.

Educational Programs

  • Preregistration for the educational programs is made only through online registration via the SNFCC website, here.

  • During the school year 2020-2021, up to 4 groups from each school can participate. The visit concerns 1 group from each school, per day.

  • Monday - Friday // 9.00 – 10.30, 11.00-12.30

    Valid for all educational units.

  • For the safety of students and teachers: The use of a mask is mandatory throughout your visit.
During our school programs, all necessary measures are maintained in order to protect the health and safety of the participants.

  • In case of rain or unfavorable weather conditions the programs will be canceled and there is no option for students staying in the area.

  • Participation in the educational programs is free of charge, with the exclusive support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

School Walks

  • School walks are available upon reservation and only for outdoor areas of the Stavros Niarchos Park.
School groups are more than welcome to enjoy their school walk at Stavros Niarchos Park, and specifically at the Great Lawn, the Music garden and the surrounding area of the Water Jets (as long as your visit does not coincide with other events).  Crowding and mixing with other groups should be avoided; the school group should always be supervised during their stay at SNFCC.

One school group can participate in the school walks each time, but also in activities specially designed for their age groups by booking the Outdoor Sports Area.

  • Reservation for school walks is mandatory. In case of rain or bad weather the walk is canceled.

    Make your reservation here.

Access

  • Currently, the SNFCC premises can be reached by car, bicycle or public transportation, including buses and the tram.

The SNFCC's open parking space is available for you both during the arrival of the school bus, as well as for the duration of the visit.

For school buses and coaches arriving at the SNFCC in the context of planned school visits, parking is provided at the Bus Park. School vehicles that arrive at the SNFCC within the framework of free school walks should, after the disembarkation of the students, be parked outside the premises of the SNFCC.

More information about your access can be found here.

Food & drink

  • Students can purchase a snack from the dining areas that operate at SNFCC.
However, students are advised to bring their own bottle of water and a snack.
