Since humankind’s first steps, the night sky has been a source of inspiration, reflection and practical information. Poets and writers have been lauding it, its unknown and astronomical enormity have been filling us with awe, and the positions of its stars have been safely guiding seafarers for ages.
Amateur astronomers of Attica —and elsewhere— team up with the Hellenic Astronomical Society, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, to offer their knowledge, their enthusiasm and their telescopes so that we may all explore the magnificent sky of Greece together.
