The “Journey to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center” continues to other municipalities in Attica, inviting the public to participate in the free cultural and educational events which take place under the program. The program’s main goal is twofold: to acquaint citizens with the SNFCC and its philosophy, but also to familiarize the SNFCC with the needs and desires of its future visitors.

The next stops of the “Journey to the SNFCC” program are the Municipalities of Megara, Alimos, Spata-Artemis and Marrousi, where, between the 13th and the 21st of September, the residents of each municipality will have the opportunity, through guided tours on the SNFCC site, to come into contact with a project that aspires to provide open access to education and the arts, as a well a vital urban green area for everyone.

Specifically, the guided tour for the residents of Megara will be held on September 13, for the residents of Alimos on September 14, for Spata-Artemis on September 20, and for Marrousi on September 21. During the guided tour, visitors will have the opportunity to walk around the area which will shortly be “flooded” with music, books and trees, witnessing up close, not only the project’s design but also its overall progress. Those wishing to participate in the guided tours should contact their respective Public Libraries and register for participation.

See the full schedule of events here or on the SNFCC’s website.

The program “Journey to the SNFCC” is implemented with the exclusive support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), by the SNFCC in cooperation with the National Opera, the National Library of Greece, the Future Library organization and the environmental organization WWF Greece.
