In December the SNFCC dons its festive gear and welcomes old and young in a warm and joyous celebration. Fairy tale readings for our young friends, Christmas movie screenings for the whole family, a one-man circus show, stand-up comedy skits, handcraft workshops and musical concerts are only some of the events that comprise our program of festivities. The National Library of Greece will host a series of readings in its new building, as well as a unique visual installation, while the Greek National Opera will present a Christmas Opera Gala, and a concert by its Children’s Choir.
On New Year’s Eve the annual concert of the Berlin Philharmonic will be broadcast live at the SNFCC, while on New Year’s the SNFCC will host a live broadcast of the annual concert of the Vienna Philarmonic Orchestra. Finally on New Year’s Eve the SNF RUN returns to the SNFCC, inviting us to welcome 2017 all together, with energy, vitality and team spirit.
