What are your memories from the Culture Center, your everyday stories? How would you like to capture them in a drawing?
In January, the SNFCC is launching a series of sketchbook workshops. Drawing inspiration from the personal stories that connect us with the Culture Center, we create our own handcrafted sketchbook, become acquainted with easy bookbinding techniques, and at the same time look at how we can recycle and reuse old sheets of paper and photocopies. We will experiment with various materials and illustration techniques, and will enrich our book by building pop-up paper mechanisms and cut-out spots.
We will observe the creative process, the search for ideas, and the variety of expressive means. We will discover our own voice and script, as it will be revealed on the pages of a personal journal-book.
