In September, we return to EMST to become acquainted with the work of pioneer composer and intellectual Iannis Xenakis, in an exclusive tour for SNFCC Members guided by EMST Artistic Director and curator of the exhibition Katerina Gregos. Xenakis was one of the leading international influences in the development of electronic music and computer music composition, and pioneered the use of mathematical models in music. Our tour through the artist’s multifaceted, groundbreaking work will shed light on his references and his multidimensional universe.
The exhibition aims to highlight the work of renowned, or lesser known but equally important, cultural creators of the Greek diaspora. The guided tour will be held in Greek.
